Hello there!

Featured Replies

Ok so i bought a Skoda, battled through the jokes and ridicual from the skodaphobes at work, and spoilt myself with a Superb 2.5 V6 TDI Elegance,

I Have never driven such an amazing machine, with 350ib of torque at 1250 revs, this car is a beast, not much has come past me and i sit there with the biggest grin surrounded by the most opulent interior, sheer luxury wagon.

Haven't had the problem of straight line stability as mentioned in previous thread, maybe its the larger tyres or that i maintain a high tyre pressure, the dealer only set them at 29 psi when they should be around 38psi! that made a difference to the economy too.

Does anyone know an effective way to adjust the xenon headlamps for continental driving without having to take the front of the car apart?

Loving my Skoda and happy to polish the badge!

Welcome, and it depends on how much space you have to get at the back of the lights as I know that the Fabia the headlights (and bumper) have to come out, it may be different on the Superb and someone on here may be able to help you. I'm not 100% but the Skoda headlight deflectors may not be suitable for xenon headlight cars due to the beam pattern.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Skoda ownership. They are a bit good, aren't they?! :D

Did you get the leather as well. :D

Thanks for your warm welcomes, nice to know there's people out there who understand a car for what it is and not just a badge,

In elegance trim the superb doesn't need much more in the way of extras. as for full leather i've always prefered half leather especially in summer, the Superb has heated seats in the front and back including the backrests so didnt feel the need for the full trim.

It has the auto-tiptronic box this coupled to the 2.5V6 TDi engine is very smooth motoring, and certainly Brisk! Haven't used the unbrella that comes in the rear passenger door yet. Have carried all manner of bags on the bag hooks in the boot including 80Ib of trout after a fantastic cruise to Dever springs in Hampshire.

I LOVE it.!!!!
