vRS seat logo's

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where you can buy the embroidered seat logos?

I swapped my seats at Castle Combe, and now have black fabric seats (same big bolstered seats as the vRS) B)

I have tried looking for some logos on ebay but have had no luck.

The only other option I can think of is to find some old original seat covers from someone with a leather re-trim. If anyone has some seat covers they are willing to get rid of then let me know!!

Simon.

It will really need embroidering into the seat fabric. Take the covers off and go to a place that does custom badge embroidery to have it done along with the design you want.

Alternatively, find some matching material or an iron on backing substrate and have them made as badges. Don't try to iron them on while the covers are on the seats though, you'll end up with an iron shaped dip in the back. ;)

Any piccies of your new seats?

Of course! Here you go. They are from a Fabia Bohemia  Look very much like the mk2 vRS seats I think.

Hi Simon,

Those look great. I wish I could pull my V logos off mine and send them to you :D

I'm after more of a sleeper look for mine and I hate all the branding in the cabin.

I've already done away with the V mats and put plain black fitted mats in instead.

I'm planning a plain black leather re-trim for the future for mine. B)

Here's a thought.

Rather than taking the seats covers off, can't you have some other fabric

(piece of denim??) embroidered with the logos, cut out into V "patches" and then,

using fabric glue affix them that way,

A couple of stitches in each corner of the logo should stop the corners starting to lift.

I may just keep my eye out for a set of these seats you have instead. I really like them

and cos my butts so skinny I'm worried I'll slide about on the leather.

It's difficult. I like the look of leather but I prefer the bum grip of fabric...

I think they look great as they are, adding the logos is something I was just thinking about really, as I quite like them! It would have to be the standard ones though for me, I think the ones on the mats may be the same size but I'm not sure. I will put a wanted add up I think and see if anyone has got some spare seat fabrics.

I was budgeting for a leather re-trim too, however I do quite a few track days and think that the fabric is a better bet for bum grip :giggle: so leather is now scrapped (saves me a lot of money too!)

They look fantastic!

very smart mate!!! :p

Hope the blood and bits of plastic were worth it!! :)

Yeh, my fingers alright now and hopefully will get the new plastic clip next weekend. Oh and the lack of under seat storage now, must order some boxes to fit to them.

Cheers for the swap again!!

Sorry to be off topic...... have you had the Vent surrounds sprayed?

miles better than the crappy vrs seats!!

They look ace, Skoda should of made those from the factory (very similar to mk2 vrs seats!)

Very nice, if those had been standard, I wouldn't have bothered hunting around for a car with leather or pricing up re-trims.

+1

These seats should defo have been fitted from new to the vRS, instead of the 1980's XR3i rejects it has now.

It sure would be different, but you are right none of them would work. I will just get someone to make some up for me, its just trying to find someone local that will do it without being stupidly expensive. If it costs a fortune to do then they still look good plain.

Get the Batman ones!!

Here's a place after a quick search, digitizing the pattern is a one off cost of £25 (they have to program the machine from a picture you supply) and sew or iron on badges appear to be from £3.50 each. Not sure if those are the sorts or prices you had in mind?

Phone Brian (you can use the free number 0800 298 2358) with your requirements. He will need to know:

Size(s).

Colour(s)

Quantity

Your contact details and delivery address. An e-mail address is especially helpful

Alternatively, you can send him an e-mail with all the relevant details [email protected] (remove spam to email)

Very good quality, mention ROMFT User (Jack McHammocklashing) recommended him (good price)

No set up fee, but I think it is about £4 each patch

Worth a try

I have no financial gain from this , just he is an ex serviceman that does service uniform badges etc for us
