Looking B) Leon.

Anybody else out there wants to do this swap then let me know.

I have a set of V seats I'd get rid of tomorrow in exchange for a

set like your old ones.

Loving the combi mate.

cheers!

i'm feeling optimistic about the keeping them clean side of things...for now!

It shouldn't be TOO difficult right? :p I thought the black ones always picked up dust really easily.

at least I dont have white carpets like the mk 1 Octy vRS's! :p

I gave your old seats a good hoover today Leon  . As I said to you, the vRS front seats had not been cleaned in ages, and they didn't look that bad. Just a wipe over every couple of weeks will probably keep them looking good. Its rain that marks them the most.

Suit your car very much though, so its worth it!

Yeah it's worth it! I think they'll need one last foam and wipe and they will be back to normall! I was playing the idea of getting the door cards done in the same White fabric to match the seats! My friends fella is a interior trimer for cars :)

Did your girlfriend approve of your seats then!

It might look quite nice!

please tell me where i can get those crome dial surrounds? lol post the link please lol :)

Hey Wilsy, I bought em for about 12-15 quid off eBay, you can get em from superskoda aswell I think. They were pretty easy to fit! I followed my Haynes manual! :p

They are smart tho!

thanks :) have looked on both but cnt seem to find any :( will keep my eyes peeled :)

Is that cupholder or a lidded ashtray in the back?

Good! lol, Nice to see the pillar trim became part of a major update :D

I'm un decided on the seats though.. I think they're nicer then the ones you had before. I know most people would like the Bohemia seats as they're a little more subtle, but the vRS seats are nicer to look at They also look little less loud in a car with a light roof lining... Having had a vRS for a couple of years now I can tell you that unless you have a mucky job (I can't see that being the case with what you study'd) the seats'll be fine... water marks are actually the biggest night mare if you get drenched in a down pour.. but with a VAX they're dead easy to keep looking top! And if the worse happens you can spend a weekend shoving them through the washing machine.

Put it this way.. I had a full car down to Eastbourne and back this weekend.. I got genuinely asked if the car was new, It's done 67k and I've only vaxed them once. (made my day that did, lol)

Looking forward to future updates! :D:thumbup:

Taking the actual covers off!! That's mad talk! Haha! How difficult must that be!?

I'm gonna look into a steam clean maybe.

I look forward to sharing my future updates on my chunky combi! :p

I like your car, looks classy IMO. My mate is a valeter, he does mine, gets them from awful water stained state, to near enough brand new.

Cheers! That's the look I want! Just wondering what next! Salvage a rs bumper in the near future, body coloured grill hmmm.....

The time will come! :-p

As much as I love the Facelift bumper.. I do think your car is growing out of it a little.. edging ever closer to needing a vRS bumper set.. And don't forget that rear vRS-style bumpers aren't necessarily un obtainable.

That, and the vRS bumpers in your shade of blue would actually be unbelievably gorgeous.

Have you got a W8 or superb light unit in yet? For the Ambient LED night lighting? They're quite expensive though.. I'd have one myself but they aint black, it'd go into your car so nicley though..

The more I look at the picture the more I like the vRS seats with a light colored head lining.. think it's nicer then the normal black.. maybe a little less sporty, but nicer for it maybe?

I tell you what though Leon, black grab handles would finish it off a treat!

ooo yeah, the cat vision from the superb!! I forgot about that little mod, maybe there wil be one for salvage around. I know what you mean about the vRS bumper though.... it needs a bit more chisel to the front.

it is missing a nice rear exhaust tip isn't it!....black grab handles?! you recon...?

Is that cupholder or a lidded ashtray in the back?

Extra rear cup holder and tiny cubby hole.

It flips down onto the tunnel and 2 little arms pop up to hold your drink. Was standard on the elegance. (And Bohemia???)
