It says it does both and is designed especially for this engine?..

Confused

both forge recirc r and 007p will work on the 20vt.

Theres not really going to be a "performance" difference as such, as long as you have it set right.

You might see a slight of drop in fuel economy and possibly a slight "stumble" when changing gear and flooring it as the engine will be running rich from loosing metered air from the DV

Ok so would you stay away from the split r?

i've run both and found the 007 to be a lot better and less hassle than the adjustable split r, also a lot cheaper.

i found the 007 slightly louder aswell when fitted together with a CAI (Cold Air Induction kit), performance wise there are no gains to be had with either, there just stronger and more reliable than the standard plastic bosch valve.

Ok thanks for your help guys... Which cir would you recommend to mate it up with?

Ok anyone worried about running rich with the Splitter R by Forge, it's designed for this engine specifically to meter the correct amount of air back for the MAF. It runs identical to the 007/008, just produces more of a bov sound! and if you are concerned it can easily be modified to work as a recirc, the trumpet is detachable!
