As above...Halfrauds do not sell 'Millers' and I have heard that is quite good...Do they help as a one off or should you may someone to take out injectors and give 'em a really good clean. Would this help to improve drive and performance?

I got some millers from Halfrauds? but didn't notice any difference. If your car is running fine then save your money.

Yes maybe will just leave it...what about paying for removal of injectors and 'full monty' clean?

I've run Millers in mine. Can't say I really noticed a lot of difference. But then that was in the first few months of owning the car. Might be able to spot a difference a bit better now after 2 1/2 years....

Where to get FORTE from?

Usually throw a bottle of Millers in if going on long run just more out of habit i think. Use to use Octane booster but they call it Eco Max now. When i 1st got my Octy it ran a little rough threw a bottle of Detox in from Halfrauds and took it for an Italian tune up over Snake Pass, seemed to help clear it out.

What has prompted you to want to clean injectors in the first place??

If car is suspected having a faulty injector, then carefully remove them, marking which/ what goes to where and take them along to diesel specialist

for checking and setting-up. These people have high-pressure testing equipment way ahead of DIY mechanics.

Had my car serviced yesterday by the local Skoda garage and, as usual, they put in some Forte Diesel Fuel Treatment. Always runs better when it comes back from a service so I don't know how much is due to the Forte treatment. I believe the main reason they put it in is stop the variable vane turbo clogging up again (mechanically cleaned two years ago). At the moment I am only doing short journeys around town and this can be a quick way to get sticking vanes - low revs, lots of idling and a cold engine.

I like the look of the products shown on this American test site but I haven't seen them in the UK: BG44K[petrol] and BG224[diesel] Fuel Additives
