no they swing the wrong way ,

pretty quick on parts! no issues before, and quick response to emails etc.

Replacement parts can take a long time to arrive lol.

ordered a few things over the years never had no problems

All the prices are in Euros though, does it change to Sterling when you register/log-in and place an order?

Just curious... :wonder:

  • 3 weeks later...

Just ordered their chrome heater control knobs set. "Made specially for Superskoda by KI-R" or words to that effect.

Fingers crossed that they arrive and are good quality.

PS: The originals unclip from the controls and are held by two plastic clips and two locating "logs" for want of a better word. Squeeze and pull to release. Doesn't take much effort to remove them.

PPS: They're noticably different under the skin from items I've seen on ebay.co.uk for various Golfs, Polos etc.

Sorry to steal the thread a bit but does anyone know where else I can get angel eye head lights?

Not off hand... I'd try ebay for ideas of manufacturers and retailers, then google could be helpful...

Depends if you want BMW halos or Audi DRL style...

holy crap there lush!!! would go for them but with the new alloys being painted at the mo (cant wait) funds are a bit low!!

These look like the Superskoda ones, plus a mark up. :dull:

But at least they are in stocked here in the UK.

Leon-Y-K just started a thread about identical looking lights.

I think his came from CZ ( Superskoda??) but I don't think

they are £300 there.

Sounds like he waited a while for them though...

That sure is a lot of dosh for new headlights :o

The chrome bits arrived today via air-mail in a jiffy bag containing a VERY small box.

I was dubious that Superskoda had sent the right thing as the box is tiny. However, upon opening, three dials/knobs individually bagged were crammed inside.

Haven't had time to fit them yet but first impressions are good. I'll leave any recommendations until I know whether they'll fit or fall off though - LOL.

Fitted them this afternoon. Not without a little wrestling.

i) Even though it's still warm, I can't believe how much force was required to squeeze-release the existing knobs. I managed to wriggle the centre one free. The two outers came away with their mount attached; a clear plastic disk with a central locating pin. Took a little work with a thin butter knife to persuade them to detach.

Anyways, everything came off without breaking...

ii) Getting the chrome ones on. As they're chromed, they're somewhat stiffer than the originals. Took a little effort to get them on. Now they're on, I think they'll be there for ever! It'll certainly take more effort to remove them.

I think they look good though. Piccies tomorrow once I've hoovered the car. :)

I quite like them. They're cool to the touch, especially these cooler mornings.

My heater surround etc is pinted Black magic. Excuse the peeling pewter paint on the radio. Plan is for the radio to also be black magic with chrome or mirror finish buttons.
