who will replace the Yeti?

Featured Replies

Some rumours says Skoda announced a new SUV model on 2013...

Its name is WOLFSTER and the look is a little bit different from the Yeti one (much similar to BMW X series):

What do you think about it?

I like it, but it'll probably be too big to go in the garage. (unlike the Yeti)

Although it's not as 'unique' looking as the Yeti.

I imagine it'll be a Scout version of the MKIII Octavia. As I'm expecting the new Octavia to here with us 2013.

Looks sweet. But doublt if it will fit in our garage, the Yeti just about fits. :D

I think it looks interesting :) But they have got to lose the daft name :(

her indoors and I like that a lot would go to the skoda manufacture really happy drivers  :p

Audi and BMW would lose a lot of X3,and Q5 sales. There'd be a longer waiting list than for the Yeti.Too big and ugly for me though. :wonder:

Too much style confusion and too little relation to the Yeti style in my opinion.

They ought to losoe the bug-eye fog lights and put them down in the fake air intakes in the lower part of the bumper - like the other Skodas. The Sexy B-pillar should be retained and they can also lose the Roomster style height of the windows behind the rear seats.

To me, there is some logic in the Yeti styling - most inside room in the smallest possible total space. This leads to the slab sides and vertical rear, clean lines without any unnecessary folds and bumps in the sheet metal.

I love the look of this. It looks like a larger version to satisfy those who need a bigger boot or a better 3rd rear seat. Either way it complements the Yeti rather than challenges it.

The question is will Skoda be able to produce it and keep the pricing in line with Skoda aims and values. That must get tougher as the car gets bigger.

I've just heard the first whispers in the industry that Skoda is planning another factory - somewhere in Czech or close by. Since there is painting involved, sounds like another assembly plant.

Don't ask, I know no more.
