Question on my Nova

Featured Replies

i am having a bit of trouble with the nova, other people that have done the same modifications that i have to the max fueling and boost and can get 1.2bar but i can't seem to get above 0.8 bar

once i go above 0.8 bar the max boost valve keeps releasing the pressure, anybody know if this is the valve that is causing the problems? Image(401).jpg

can i do anything to this to stop the blighter going off all the time

this is in the top of the inlet manifold btw, where the original air filter sits

Dunno tbh Bengie. Is it a spring operated valve? If so add a higher tension spring so it stays seated at higher boost pressure.

thats a good idea jimmy but i have no idea how it works or how to take it apart, but cheers for the idea. i will try to take it apart monday

If you can't get a higher tension spring and the unit can be dis-assembled use the std spring but add a washer where it is seated in the holder. This will effectively increase the tension of the OE spring. Same trick used on spring type DV's etc...
