IMMOBILISER

First of all - bit of courtesy to mods - hope it's OK to put this in here ,with a similar post in Fellicia( CLASSICS) section . But the situation although similar, is slightly different .

Looking through insurance compare sites as I'm about to change my Furby for a Felly, I noticed that the option coming up on the Fabia/Felly Immobiliser was "Factory fit ,Thatcham- so I asked Skoda - as this is the Fabia forum - she replied that the Fabia has got a Thatcham immobiliser fitted as standard - so if the type of immobiliser drops your premiums -there you are .

Always amazes me that the insurance companies have to ask what's fitted .
