Featured Replies

Well unfortunately its time for the fabia to be passed on to a new owner, of which came to pick it up today

Luckily it was somebody from here, so I imagine it will be looked after well!

Enjoy your new car cd2010 :)

Ive put a deposit on a Civic Type R FN2

I had a choice of either that, an Audi A3 2.0TFSI Quattro or a Volvo C30 T5. The others were really nice cars, will be quicker when mapped but... both felt a little too grown up. Civic makes me feel like a big kid :D

Hopefully I'll be able to afford an Evo or Impreza next year (if the insurance man is in a good mood!)

I know the lad chris whos bought it mate! He sold his 206 gti and then had your vRS. He will definately look after it im positive and i know hes happy with it already! He had a 300 mile trip home so i imagine hes having a hell of a lot of fun!

Yeah he text me saying he got home alright and is loving the car. I'm missing it already, especially seeing as I don't get my car until sunday!

The car is great Sam!

250 miles or so on £30!

My colleagues at work are impressed, they've changed their view towards Skoda now.

I'll keep you updated as and when :)

cant beat a honda, had an ep3 before this, best car ive ever owned by far [hope my fabia isnt listening emoticon-0136-giggle.gif ] emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Ah well, enjoy the new purchase

Post some details and photos up when you get it

Nice!

i also prefer the 17's you have to those god aweful bling bling 18's you get

and the nice thing about vtec is when your driving it, they feel like the quickest things in the world (obviously untrue) but you get the 'grin factor'

They're 18's Jase

I test drove one with the 19" bling bling's which I think look terrible.

Great thing about the civic is, despite being bad on paper, it has ace usable power. I'd love to try one with an LSD but find this never struggles to put power down when exiting corners, or off the mark. Unlike my fabia which used to think tyres grew on trees (no smart comments!)

ah my bad! i knew the bling bling ones were in inch bigger in either case

doub't you'd need lsd, they can put the power down far easier than a turbo diesel as theres no big massive lump of torque

They did a special edition called the Championship White which came with an LSD, couldnt justify the extra spend for it as I only plan on keeping this for 12 months until something else catches my eye.

The 19" don't look too bad on a red car, but really don't suit the black ones.

Ah right

i've seen a white 10 plate on?

but its got fancy alloys, fancy bumper splitters etc?

i think its the new model / facelift?

usually with the old civic the white ones were only available on import? im guessing this changed after the EP3?

i had a ek9 b18c6 with s80 lsd box (for 4 day's until it ended on its roof)

Yeah as far as I'm aware the CW FN2 is available to buy in the UK.

This is one;

was it perhaps an FD2 you saw?

And unlucky for your EK9 :(

God knows

i just know its a 10 plate

nothing like any ctr i've seen before, 2 round exhausts at the rear

fancy front and rear aprons

and what im guessing are 19" gunmetal / bronze alloys

Looked cool!

Nice! Mate of mine had an EK9 1.6 VTEC and that thing went like the clappers.

If I could afford to run two cars I would go out and buy one tomorrow.

yes it went like poo off a shovel, had everything done engine was was specced to 220bhp

Nice!

I've heard that my model on a dyno puts out between 210-220bhp on average standard. The Mugen is a fantastic car but they sure do cost a lot!
