I have just found out that i will jave to wait until December for my new Octavia vRS! i placed the order on 30 June and was told it would be around 12 weekd before i could expect delivery. Mmmm, October I thought, that's OK. Now i find that it's probably the beginning of December at he earliest.. Not good, as i will have to have my current car service, MOT'ed and taxed which i wasn't expecting to do when i struck the deal.

Anybody else had the same problem? I contacted Skoda UK and they tell me that there is a compensation scheme for owners that have to wait 18 weeks or more and that it is the dealers you need to speak to. Has anybody been told this by a dealer/ I wasn't!!
