Rear Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

Gave the car a ouick wash yesterday and now the Rear Parking Sensors are going haywire, Beeping randomly. (07 Octavia PD vRS)

Can they be reset?

Thanks

Did you use a pressure washer.if yes try going round the garage and using the air line on the sensors or the wife's hair dryer.

Mine only work in the wet. When dry there is a loud beep when selecting reverse and no display.

Mine do this from time to time after a good wash or heavy rain storm, mine always go back to normal after drying out. :giggle:

Yep, hairdryer out time I'd say. I'd recommend avoiding hitting them with the pressure washer spray (if that's what you use) and generally just go over them lightly as I'm doing the rounds with the 2BM and washmitt :)
