On a related topic - I was given an Octavia WRC Rally Car (IXO 1:43 model) for Christmas and it is really excellent for detail and is of course a Skoda!!!

I got the Peugeot, they look fairly good but theres no opening parts, but I dunno if you'd get them on this size.

my dad bought 2 copies yesterday, one for himself and one for my son, needless to say dads is in the case with his collection of rally cars, my sons needs a trip to the shed for a bit more superglue. kids dont you just love em!

Theres an Octavia WRC shown on the back of the cardboard packaging, I dunno when its out though.

There starting to be advertised a bit on TV now.

Anyone know of good places to get a display for them. A friend has one he got at the Autosport show last year which has a mirror back so you can see the reflection of the car.

The problem with these sort of magazines is that usally the first 3 or 4 issues are available in the shops but the after that you cant see to find any stockists.

Would you not be better off buying the models online or from a shop? You can then choose exactly which ones you want.

I suspect you'll get better quality models, as well.

I have the 206 WRC and it seems very good quality, I can't imagine you'd get much better for that price.
