Service History....

Featured Replies

Can Skoda give you a print of for service history for your car, obviously only the stuff thats been done at a dealer. Just the guy who I got mine of had misplaced it while moving house recently and is ment to be posting it onto me but I'm not really holding my breath about getting it, I got the car cheap enough to warrent not having any, but I would rather have something for it for when it comes to selling the car on.

Don't think Skoda can,but the dealer should be able to.

Phone them or pop in,and say you've just got it and need to know when it's due for service, they'll be more helpfull if they think you're a potential customer.

When they tell you,ask for a print off.

When I got my last car,a Rover,I looked at dealers name in book when I viewed the car,and phoned them to check.

They checked on the screen and said all regular services, plus a CV joint the previous August,so the book matched the car. They don't always.

had a read through pal, am not really after the invoices for whats been done, more just a print of to show that the services where done and what date/mileage it had been done at, just like you would get in the service book but obviously I don't think I am going too see that.

would it effect the price of the car not having the service history, but having reciepts showing the cambelt, clutch flywheel etc was all done 6 months ago?
