I have an NVQ level 4 in engineering and management, and a degree in aeronautical engineering, I know that will not help me one bit in the automotive industry, but just looking at my options for when I get out of the RAF. Trying to change from engineering on fighters to cars.

Not sure if its still running or would be of interest. But Audi recently took quite a few ex-forces personel, gave them 6 months intensive training a company car and a set of tools and then they were used as "flying technicians" - the dealers could call on them if they were busy or for example as a stand in if a tech was away on master tech / a8 tech courses.

If you are interested I can see if it's still running and get some info.
