Folks I've just had my 1.6fsi Octavia back from a local mechanic for a service, he fitted Skoda parts I got from the local dealer but the fuel filter is incorrect.

When I contacted the dealer the parts person said that (after checking with the dealer mechanics) no-one there had ever changed a fuel filter on a 1.6fsi.

My question is twofold, does the 1.6fsi not have a regular, changeable fuel filter? But, if it has, does anyone know a part number?

To be honest I found the dealer very vague and not that helpful.

Any advice would be welcome.
