How to get my symphony headunit unlocked?

Featured Replies

Hey all. I bought a symphony headunit for my Fabia, but it requires a code....I've got the serial number for it, off the side of the headunit. Does anyone know how to get the four digit code from that? Cheap as possible please lol!

You cant, some companies are around that will unlock it by reseting the code, it will cost about £20 to get it done.

For example,

Your skoda dealer can do it, but they will require an official skoda invoice as proof of ownership. Failing that get in touch with the seller, if they still have the car it came from then they maybe able to get the code from Skoda as they have the car that the headunit is linked to at skoda HQ.

The lesson is, Never buy a headunit without the code. It may have been removed for a reason, but it could just as easily be a stolen unit.
