Plastic Roof Gulley Insert Covers

Featured Replies

Just noticed that one of the plastic insert covers for one of the fixpoints on the drivers side roof gulley has gone missing, possibly lost in the car wash (These inserts cover the holes in the gulley were the supports for a roof rack locate into the roof structure).

Last time I tried to get some spares from the dealer (Requested on annual service) they couldn't be fagged to order them. So I'd been using a couple of partially broken ones. I think it was one of these which disappeared.

Can these be ordered off the internet ? If so where ?

Sorry, can't help with the query.

Good question though. A friend of mine has just picked up her Fabia vRS and it is missing some of these covers.

Very interested in potential responses...

just go to the dealers and order some from the parts desk. they will find them if you specifically go to the parts desk. They only forgot last time as it will have been forgotten hen you asked them as part of the service.

They will be a matter of pence each.. if oyu really can't be bothered to go down ring them up and speak to them

How old's your Fabia.. and what trim?

The early Elegance models had body colored strips, so be sure they don;t shove black ones in if they're meant to be color keyed.

I'd like replacement silver ones from a silver elegance model. My current black plastic ones are missing a couple of those slidey covers and it looks a bit rank.

mines totally missing one whole strip lol, any idea were to get them?

Try jorily if you can't be 4rsed with stealers. Email or phone them and ask if they can get hold of the part.

One of mine kept popping up, so super-glued down, stopped the popping-up. LOLemoticon-0148-yes.gif
