Hi Chaps

Im back for more advice, I recently replaced the turbo unit and hose(s) on my vrs.

I was driving today and at around 70mph the car went into limp mode and the warning light on the dash came up which relates to the exhaust system.

Any ideas what this could be, would it be related to the previous amount of black smoke which was coming out while there was a whole in the hoses.

Could it be that the EGR or MAF need to be replaced cleaned etc. If so are these easy DIY jobs or will it need to be a garage.

Should I take it to a garage to get in on a computer?.

Limp mode will throw out a code or two, so best to have it scanned rather than guess.
