disabled driver

Hi -- have just ordered a Superb Estate 170 CR DSG. Have found it's the only car which has enough space to load my wife's wheelchair between front and back seat. This was a relief, as I'd been trying to find one for ages. After reading the forums, guess I'll have to wait for what seems to be almost six months. You'd think they would step up production, even if just to get more seen on the roads.

Is there a reason why it needs to go inside the car rather than in the 'boot'?

Nice idea, if only this was true (I too am still waiting for my Superb Estate).

Yeah. Unfortunately, I'm also disabled, and unable to lift from ground to sill height of estate. However I can " tip the chair up " and slide it between front and back seat which is great. Got the estate so that we can go out with other able bodied couples who can lift chair into " boot ". Thanks for the welcome, by the way.

Hi and welcome aboard.
