Handbrake warning light

Handbrake ON light on instrument panel gone very dim. Occasionally will flicker and comes on normal for a very short period. Handbrake switch changed to no effect. Hope its not instrument cluster. Has anyone had a similiar prob?. Car is a 52 plate comfort estate 1.9tdi

Have you checked the brake fluid?

If all OK, It could be a failing LED!

check brake fluid. Are there any beeping sounds? Turned out to be leaking brake fluid on my pd100.

Yes no problem with fluid, I have had in the past two months an ABS warning with a loud buzzer, this was cured by stopping waiting 10 secs and restarting. Brakes etc serviced regularly and ABS works OK

Hi, new to forum. Hopefully someone might be able to help. 2011 Octavia Scout, 2.0 diesel. Will start and immediately cuts out. No comms with any module except ECM via k-line. Have changed Gateway module, ECM and instrument cluster for known working units. Unplugged every module. Checked every fuse. All relays good. Other faults - electric windows not working, engine fans running, parking brake warning light flashing. Do not appear to have any commas on Can Bus, would be grateful for any suggest

This is a follow up to a previous question I posed recently. I had a 2008 vRS for over 12 years and really loved it before moving on to something different. Looking to getting back into vRS ownership again and toying with the idea of finding one with the 4x4 drive train. If anyone has been able to compare the two, is there a noticeable improvement in road handling with this variant? Thanks

I’m having a issue on start-up from cold there is a noticeable lumpy idling. This hasn’t caused any massifier codes when scanning via VCDS. Last year as part of the service the sparkplugs were changes but the rough idol is getting more noticeable. My Audi had the same issue that eventually resulted in constant misfire. That was diagnosed as having a carbon build-up. I don’t want to have the same issue occurring with the Fabia. As the CTHE is direct injection and has done 41k miles I’m guessin

Hello people, I got a 2011, VRS a few days ago. Primarily for a long trip. Seems decent so far, but I want to add power, music and just get things working. I have a few issues/questions. Hello .I recently bought a Skoda Superb MK3. After a few days the fan stopped working. I changed the blower fan but it still doesn't work (the one on the car was already changed with a aftermarket). I checked the fuse and it's ok, I bought another resistor and it still doesn't work. I checked the wires and they have 12v. When I press the AC button the light doesn’t appear. On the diagnostics I found these errors. What could it be? Thank you
