After ordering on the 5th May!, my new company car arrives.

Spec is everything, except the sunroof, the built in launch control is also an additional nice surprise.

Very very nice mate. Mine should be here soon but my company wouldn't stretch to DSG. Still can't believe they let me have a VRS though.

Alfa 159, it was a great looking car but the diesel engine was slow, drank fuel and was utterly impractical

Yes, as I couldn't order sunset glass I opted for a "mid" tint.

Looks nice, I think a mid tint with follow on mine........

Nice to see the plastic seat covering still stuffed in the door . . . must be great to get it after OMG 6 months! I think I waited three months and that never seemed to end.

The sunroof is a bit of a disappointment to be honest, it is very small. I dont think you are missing much without it, the car looks lovely.

Must be the camera angle but it looks nicely settled and low at the rear but from the front it looks like its scared of the camera

Nope not a joke, turn off the traction control, drop the DSG into sport, left foot on the brake and right foot full on the throttle. ECU holds revs to about 2000rpm, release brakes and then hold on tight.

Tints were £200.

I didnt know I had it!!

Launch Control also works on my 56 plate PD vRS. Tried it once, and was impressed. Depress clutch, select first, floor accelerator (holds at 3000rpm) release clutch and you're off.. :yes: Don't know how often I'd like to try it though.

Lovely car, really liking the FL vRS and as common as it is, Blue still looks the best.

Stupid question but should I be getting rain water going into the boot when I open the boot? Seems to splash into car.

I get the same thing. Rather disapointing, but doesn't stop me grinning when I drive it. :-)
