£12,950 auction start price

SKODA OCTAVIA VRS TDI CR

2009 (09 PLATE) WITH 18,100 MILES ON THE CLOCK

STUNNING CAR PRICED TO SELL, IF YOU FIND ONE CHEAPER IN AS GOOD CONDITION - BUY IT!!!

STARTING PRICE IS BELOW TRADE-IN PRICE TO GET THE BALL ROLLING!

This car has been my pride and joy for the last 8 months and it breaks my heart to sell it. I have never cleaned a car so often and every time I drive it I get out with a smile on my face! I am selling reluctantly as I have been made redundant.

The car drives like a dream with breathtaking performance combined with frugal fuel consumption (up to 50 mpg without trying hard).

This particular VRS is finished in stunning metallic blue and the look is enhanced with non standard 18 inch alloys.

The mileage is 18,100 at the moment (30th September) but the car is in regular use this will increase, but only slightly over the period of the auction.

I welcome any inspection from genuinely interested parties (please no tyre kickers). My phone number is 01793 526568 (mobile 07909 177147) and email is [email protected] . I am located in Swindon.

Car can be delivered to the winning bidder at £1 per mile and any other costs if required (subject to agreement)

There are many extras to set this car apart from other VRS’s and they include

18 inch Alloy Wheels (17 inch are standard on the VRS)

Touch screen CD multi changer

Air conditioned Glove Box (Jumbo Box) and armrest box

Rear parking sensors with visual and audio warning when reversing

Full spare tire (not emergency tyre)

Other features include:

½ Leather Seats

Driver/Passenger Seat Height Adjustment

Trip Computer

Power-Assisted Steering

Rev Counter

Trip Computer,

Rake/Reach Adjustable Steering Column/Wheel

Touchscreen Radio/CD Autochanger

Eight Speakers

Headlamp Adjustment

Rear Wash Wipe

Tinted Glass

Front Fog Lights

Electric/Heated Door Mirrors

Body Coloured Bumpers

Dual-Zone Air Conditioning

Drivers Armrest

Front/Rear Electric Windows

Front/Rear Head Restraints

Seat - ISOFIX Anchorage Point

Seats Split Rear

Leather Steering Wheel

Anti-Lock Brakes

Driver, Passenger and Front Side Air Bags

Electronic Stability Programme

Centre Rear Seat Belt

Alarm

Remote Central Door Locking

Immobiliser

18 inch Alloy Wheels

Safety Belt Pretensioners

The interior is pristine and the exterior is great except for one small stone chip on the bonnet which is almost unnoticeable. The same stone that hit the bonnet hit the windscreen which has been professionally repaired. HPI Check carried out before I purchased the car.

C'mon guys and gals - all those views and no-one interested? It's only got until Sunday on eBay and that's that.

OK here's the thing. This beautiful example of the Skoda Octavia VRS is going for below trade in value on eBay - right now. The auction ends Sunday with no reserve. the current bid is £12,950 and I have no reserve on it - the winning bidder gets the car as I need to sell it because of redundancy. Grab yourself a bargain. Bid now or lose out. It ends this Sunday and that's that!!

I think the problem is that you can currently buy a brand new, face lifted one for less than £16K (base spec but with met paint) and that's with 0% interest credit.

The same thing happened to me when I sold my MK2 just a year after I got it, Skoda put some crazy deals on new ones and i ended up selling it for very cheap, then the deal ended and the second hand prices went up again. You may be better off holding onto it!

dont think you can get a brand new vrs tdi for £16k,vat free deal is off the vrs so i would like to no how you can get one of these for under £16k

... plus you will have to wait months for the new one. Seems a good price to me, good luck with the sale.

Vat deal was still on yesterday, plus you can neg £1500 off the price if you dont mind a haggle.

I'm not saying its not a good price, just trying to shed some light on why it hasnt gone already

You can get a new VRS CR for 16.2k from DtD, So I reckon under 16k is maybe possible from a very keen dealer.

I'd pay the extra 3k for a brand new (facelifted as well dont forget) car no question about it.

Good luck with the sale though, be interested in what price you acheive for it...............
