Boot linners

Featured Replies

Hi people

I'm going to be joining the skoda club tomorow when i pick up my blue VRS hatchback 08.. Just aking what the best boot linner to get to keep the boot in good condition, and also are hatchback and eastate boot linners the same shape??

Many thanks

Rich

For me it has to be Hatchbag, nothing else fits as well.

i went for the genuine skoda rubber bootliner which works a treat and can be easily cleaned. I dont know if they are all the same size but the skoda dealership will tell you either way.

Hope you enjoy Skoda ownership, i must say that ive been converted!

I have this one here. The only thing not right is the lug holes for the middle lugs, you can cut them. A group test in Autoexpress here actually tested on an Octy!

It all comes down to what you intend to carry in the boot, I also have the genuine Skoda Superb rubbertextile boot liner to protect the boot from salt water from my diving kit, it does a brilliant job and keeps the carpet bone dry, but doesn't offer any protection to the wheel arch carpet - if that is important to you?

I believe the floor shape of the boot is the same on both the hatchback and estate.

I too have the genuine Skoda boot liner and its great. It has the holes pre-cut so it fits straight over the floor hooks.

I've the estate version of this:

http://www.hatchbag.co.uk/product.php?xProd=369 (and this is the one you need)

and I've got a roofbox vinyl floor mat as well (but then then I've got a very big and often very wet and dirty golden retriever to accommodate).

I also have the original Skoda rubber mat and it has the holes for metal hooks too. Fits perfectly and cleans easy, even acts as a little sound deadening cover.

I've the estate version of this:

and I've got a roofbox vinyl floor mat as well (but then then I've got a very big and often very wet and dirty golden retriever to accommodate).

I have the same, hatchbag (brilliant coverage) and the roofbox floormat whch also has raised edges to catch the sea water draining from my labs when i drive back from the beach!
