Where is the central convience on a fabia vrs and are they inter changeable from car to car. I gather I will have to code with vag com also

Apoligies what is a 'central convience?'

I may well be wrong but isn't it within the instrument pod.

My understanding is that the central convenience module

looks after the cars electronic functions and settings including things like

alarm, stereo code, one touch locking settings, power steering resistance,

electric windows all that vagcom stuff.

Bit beyond me to be honest but isn't it just a huge collection of settings and stored values.

In short, data?

Haha sorry, thought you were talking about some sort of aftermarket luxury armrest lol.

The central door locking ecu is located above the clutch pedal, two plugs on it. It controls locking, remote keys etc

Lighting and other electrics also gateway are controlled by the central electrics control unit.

Dash is just that and the immobiliser
