hi guys. Quick intro...

Currently driving a 318i and have been doing for the last 10 years..

Ready in the next few days to buy another car. Was looking at another 318, but came across a Skoda Superb Comfort 1.9tdi (130). SO I thought I'd do some research...

So far, it's all positive to be honest, and I'm really excited about owning one now!

However, reading some topics has bought me to the "Water Ingress" problem!

Can someone please just help me out here. The "fix it guide" seems helpful, but I'm just wondering how I can tell if it has or is sufferring from this problem?

I'm planning on having the AA/RAC to go check it out - will/can they pick up on it?

I know this is an intro page - so sorry and I promise if i end up buying this lovely piece of machinery, then I will start proper topics etc!

Most forums are designed to help with problems so sometimes your view could be clouded as people don't post my car is fantastic all the time, neighbour has had 2 m1 and now a m2 with no problems apart from an umbrella was not in the door of his new one, I am sure aa wiil pick up any faults if you specify to look for certain ones.Also welcome!
