Fabia Door warning light

Featured Replies

My wife's Fabia Sport has developed a problem with the warning light on the dashboard which suggests a door is open when in fact they are all closed. The interior light stays on also thinking I prsume that the door is open. Then when she locks the car after a while the alarm goes off. I have removed the fuse to stop it flattening the battery. Any suggestions??

Hi and welcome aboard.

Change the door microswitch, or if still under warranty get a dealer to change it for you.

How would he determine which one to change?

IIRC, there is only one microswitch that is not soldered directly to the circuit board. It is this one you will need to change

Which door I meant... Or is this microswitch in a central location?
