Nice but just a few things,

1. Bi-Xenon lights are not available on the Octavia, it´s only Xenon

2. Order the BOLERO, has built in 6 CD and the SD card holder. It also shows all alterations you do on the AC.

3. Black roof rails look nicer on white Octavia

ok..

upgrade stereo not listed on drivethedeal

also states bi-xenons so ill look into that

many thanks so far

It´s also touch screen, if you have multifunction steering wheel with bluetooth and maxidot then package complete.

Ummm Bolero is standard on a new VRS anyhow isnt it and it holds 6 CD's inside unless im very much mistake, at least thats what mine came with as standard

If you are odering DSG you do not need to order Maxidot. A few here will confirm that.

Dropped you a Pm re dealers.

Re towbar preperation, get a quote for complete fitting from a tow bar specialist, theres a few threads on here if you do a search, a good one can sort out the Parking sensor problem & you may save rather a lot. One complete post fitted to our Scout will be around £500

Not sure what spare comes with the VRs but if its the same as the scout where a bottle of foam is all thats provided the extra for a space saver is worth it, with just the can of foam you dont even get a jack

interesting?? gonna pick up a brochure today see whats/what

Bolero is standard on the VRS. Comes with 6CD internal changer and SD card slot so i didnt bother with the MDI interface.

Justin at Silbury Skoda beat the DTD price for me. :D

I was under the impression they were available on the face lift, if it comes with the adaptive lighting system

nope, havent got it on mine

most dealers should match that if your local one wont try another dealer.

as for not looking good on a white car.............personally I like them in silver on mine.

Excellent choice, had mine just over a month...amazing car.

A few comments about your spec...some already mentioned.

Maxidot is definitely standard with DSG.

Only the dipped beam is Xenon, the main beam is still halogen. Both come on when on main beam...being able to illuminate round bends is a big advantage. If you intend to drive abroad you can change the headlight alignment with the maxidot.

I think you'll find the floor mats are free with the vRS...mine were.

The standard Bolero radio has an inbuilt 6 cd changer. As someone else has said I didn't bother with the MDI as the SD card works just as well and you don't clutter up the glove box..

I didn't pay for a boot net but the car came with it.

Definitely get a full sized spare...the thought of just having a can of foam horrified me.

Hope you are prepared for a long wait. Popped in to my dealers yesterday and was told that they are now quoting March/April for deliveries of cars with specs such as yours.....had to wait nearly 5 months for mine.

really pleased with the feedback people

up to 6 months wait is a bit disappointing though

cant live that long without a car

also... 20% vat comes in soon wonder what happens there with skoda deals ??

I went round the houses with trying to get dealers to match, or come close, to DTD. In the end I was so hacked off with it, I just went with DTD - most of the dealers were just point-blank refusing to talk about it.

I have not been disappointed. Pick the car up this Saturday, has overall been a 10 week wait... without wanting to count my chickens, so far so good - will put some feedback on here once it's all complete.

So, in short, I wouldn't be worried about just doing it via DTD. The whole process has been completely pain-free and seamless.

Cheers,

Dan
