rolling road day at amd essex

Featured Replies

I might come to this, if only to see Sunroof's car shred the rollers now that his driving skills have 'loosened the car up' :wonder: :giggle::rofl::giggle::rofl:

Thanks Phil, that was just the laugh I needed to brighten this gloomy old day!

Excuse me a second everyone............

:finger:

You are going to be eating it when im at the rollers on the 28th and it has hit the 150Bhp mark doing nothing to it.................

How did the octys do on the last one we did

I thought that AmD's rollers were broken that day?!?! funny that they decided to underread right after all our Fabias had been run and achieved decent results...... :p

Yeah they were intermittently accurate that day, some cars were spot on, some were reading much more than they actually had (that'd be all the Fabia's) :p & some only read 2% of actual power (that'd be all the Octys) :giggle::rofl::rofl::rofl:

No seriously, I thought the Fabia results were really impressive, way better than some of the Octy's & that's without the masses of torque they have too.

Mine was a fraction under 200 brake, I had hoped for a little more but I guess with a boost fault code (N249 valve.), 143,000 miles, a £99 remap & a £14 air filter. You can't expect miracles! Big thanks to Jamie for helping with the bypass on the 249 valve

vRS Turbo - as you're heading to AmD today, any chance you could have a quick word with Shaun on this???

im defonatly up for this reali need to no wat my is running now ive had my bits n bobs fitted ;)

I spoke to them today, they're full until next year but we can do any Sunday in January. It's £35 per car for 2 runs providing we can get more than 10 there. If we get more than 20 we get a free BBQ so lets aim for that. I'll probably take over organising this as we've heard nothing from the OP. Can we decide on a date and we will go from there...

2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd or 30th January. Say whatever is best for you and I'll book the most popular date. :)

I'm easy on any of them but I think 16th would be good to get the new year over with. Does 16th January, 2011 sound good for you guys?

I should be running 220bhp by then too. B)

i can do any date prefer the earlier the better really

I'll probably be in Bristol by then but may drive down for the day

for a little visit.

Won't run though, it will cost me about £30 in diesel

just to come down and say hello, I doubt I'll be working by then

as I'll have only just got there so money will most definitely be thin on the ground.

Luke I'd advise making it late in the month (30th) to allow for people to have been paid again

after the usual Xmas expense. You may get a few people dropping out because they are skint

in early January... It's tradition. Good luck

I would suggest 30th mainly for the same reason as the previous post. ( Xmas Skints)

I will have my Octy by then & have put a few miles on it .
