HIYA MEMBERS I WAS DRIVING DOWN ROAD TODAY AND NOTICED A SWISHING NOISE AND POPPED UP MY SPARE TO FIND IT HALF FULL OF WATER HAS ANY 1 ELSE HAD SAME PROBLEM AND ANY IDEAS ON WERE WATER IS GETTING IN.. I CAN REMEMBER MY MK 1 GOLF CABRIO LEAK THRU LIGHTS WHICH WAS COMMON,BUT I CANT SEE ANY WATER MARKS FRM REAR LAMPS PLEASE HELP THANKS. :S

There's a couple of holes in the bottom of the well, usually filled with rubber bungs, check they're still in place and properly seated. In this horrible weather we've been having there's a good possibility the water's been coming up through there.

Another possibility is that the pipe on your rear washer has disconnected and is squirting water into your boot each time you use it, so check that that is still functioning properly.

Also, please STOP SHOUTING. :)

Another possibility is a blocked drain elsewhere in the boot area- My A3 had this. Check behind the trim.
