Kenwood DNX7200 into Yeti

Featured Replies

Bear with me if this has been done before - but I couldn't find an answer on my forum Search.

Awaiting delivery of Yeti 2.0TDI 170 Elegance with 12 speaker sound upgrade.

Wanting to replace std Bolero with the Kenwood DNX7200 + KCA IP-301v ipod connector, GTM 10 traffic news, KCA BT300 and CAW Vw2150 steering wheel control interface, which Kenwood advise should all work fine - however I hear there's a likliehood that the 12 speaker amp might not be picked up?

Is this the case and is there a fix?

I was really happy with this set up in my previous Golf - I've considered various other options (Columbus/DNX520VBT/Pioneer F9110/Zenec 2010) but none seem to tick every box that my DNX7200 system has?

Advice welcomed

TIA

A Connects2 interface cable is available for VAG cars with MFSW and amped speakers. The only issue is it kills the power with the ignition. They are working on a version for CANBus cars, which should be available soon, and maintains power until the key is removed.
