Been looking at the pre facelift lemon yellow fabias.

But read a bit and see that the paint can fade quite a bit.

Just wondering what your views are since i dont fancy having a faded car like 4 - 5 years down the line when i go to sell?

Is the only thing putting me off a yellow / red one.

depends how well its been looked after, and the same could be said for any make of vehicle in such a colour

A session with a machine polisher will bring it back to life

5 1/2 years old now and only real fade on my red Furby has been on top of the rear spoiler ie. only noticeable by me when I wash it. Overall, paint has held up really well for this colour, especially when you see some of those older faded matt red Astras and Corsas knocking about!

MOP'ing is not a problem so all sounds good.
