does this look like your arm rest and does it look about same height/distance from the centre console?

looks nothing like my armrest - the one in mine is like a small pillar coming straight up from back of the centre console and the armrest hinges from the back.

Looks more like the Superb`s armrest which is a LOT wider btw!

Yeah the one in mine is nowhere near as deep... will take photos in a bit if it'll help you!

If it has a leather trimmed section on the end that slides back and forth its deffo the Superb`s one.

Dont think it will fit the Fab as I think its almost wider that the space between the Fab`s seats!

I fitted an original armrest in my wifes Roomster. should be the same as in a Fabia II.

The problem with these aftermarket armrests is, that they are attached to the plastic part of the console. If you lean on it, it will flex and bend the plastic of the console.

The original armrest ist attached to the metal of the cars floor. Biggest contra is its price.

(and the fakt that my wife never uses it )

never use the one on mine either, it makes gear changes awkward and the handbrake pretty unreachable... maybe if i was travelling for a few hours on the motorway it may get dropped down

thanks for the replies. my dad use to have a mondeo and on motorway journeys I think I'm not going to fit this as I didn't realise it attached to the centre console rather than the metal
