Octy vRS trip re-setting every time I start

Featured Replies

I've had a search but can't find anything, doesn't sound like a common thing i think..

Hi all, when I've come to start my car recently my computer/trip has been re-setting, I mean the one with average mpg, miles to fill up, how long you've been driving for etc.. the one with the mileage isn't re-setting.

This is very strange, definitely isn't me doing it and I always do it between filling up usually. It is only if I leave the car off for a few minutes. I went to fill up at tesco and by the time I got back to turn the car over the trip hadn't re-set itself, only noticed it after a period of time.

Only thing I can think of causing it is my service warning is on when I first turn the ignition on, but has been like that for a little while and didn't re-set then..

you have 2 lots of data for each. One will show all time, the.other will reset approx 20 mins after switch off.

One will show 1 the other 2 in the corner.

Thanks gadget man, how can i switch between the 2 if you get me, because all i get when i turn ignition on is the re-set one and not the one that has been storing if you get me? Not the best asked question but not sure how to word it properly

press the button under the wiper stalk to switch between 1 and 2.

Thank you so much! I can now cry at returning 20-25 mpg over 100 miles instead of 13 miles lol :giggle:
