So, wanting to add a VRS spoiler to the back of the L&K, as I think the boot looks a little plain without one.

SWMBO thinks I'm trying to wind her up, and thinks I'm having a mid-life crisis (at 38!) Also wanting to add the Milotec bumper grills (3-piece), in a while - maybe a Spring job.

Will it look too, erm, chavvy, or will it be a nice addition? Whaddya reckon?

Why not!!

Might create a bit of a mongrel but I added a Sport spoiler to an Elegance Octy and it looked the biz with its 17's and standard lowered sports suspension.

Can't think why it won't look good. It'd look no different from the back end of the VRS - which I DO like in black!

How does it mount by the way? I'm assuming I'll have to drill holes in the boot lid?

Had mine fitted by Dealer when purchased new , it is Held by 2 Bolts & Glue , makes the rear end look better .

Thanks. I'm thinking about getting some vRS 17" spiders next to replace the dark chrome L&K 16"s its got at the moment. (Everyone at work thinks I'll really sad)

There is a black vRS front bumper on eBay at the moment but you can get a new one for the buy-it-now price. The dealer price he has quoted is well out.

SWMBOs actually quite cross about this - insists it'll devalue the car! That's a laugh, the easiest way to halve the value of it would be to drain the fuel tank and take the tax out of it!!!
