vrs advice please

Featured Replies

im selling my octy vrs and been offered a swap for a furby vrs 74k with a jabba stage 2 map running 195hp,im just a bit worried thats it a bit much for a pd130,should i be worried, also i have two nippers whats room like in them??

cheers phil

Ive had two 200bhp+ PD130s but both have been modded 'correctly'

If its running 190+ bhp on a standard turbo it wont for long, depends on what stage 2 is. However Jabbas rollers are known for being a little generous I think.

I never had problems with getting my girl and niece in the back, trim isnt very kid friendly though colour wise. Boot is a good size for a small hatch but no where near as cavernous as the Octavia.

Like Ross says, the 1.9 block can cope with upwards of 250bhp, provide the stuff attached to it is up to the job! No probs with our daughter and the sister-in-law's kids in terms of space - the only restriction is big pushchairs, if your kids are still that young? Pretty much anything will fit, but it may be a case of putting a big 'travel system' pushchair in vertically with the parcel shelf removed. A 'normal' pushchair will fit fine, provided it's not too long when folded...
