Buying advice - normal Vrs' vs' Ltd Edition

Featured Replies

If you can afford the premium, I would go for the SE every time.Personally I think the race blue is a fantastic colour, and the leather is so much better than the rather nasty 'nylony' standard seats. Add in the other few bits and bobs and I think it's worth the extra.

Having owned both standard and SE models, the SE still puts a smile on my face after 4 years where as the standard one had sort of become 'just another car' after 3 years.

Sorry to ask a silly questions do they come with locking wheel nuts as standard?

Yeap.

Yeap.

Thanks :)

Don't be nasty - you blue eyed boys. I think the bog standard is just fine thank you. I have a nice little black Dec 06 version with cruise control and a cute 182 bhp remap and I also don't care what the Mark 2 boys claim about that car being vastly superior too. :D

I saw a few 'standard' vRS's but sooo glad I purchased an SE after going quite a bit over my budget...

My mileage is going up though and now at 72k.

That is probably all the chemicals they treat the leather with :)

I'd have a car with xenons & other nice options over a SE any day tbh. Leather can be had easy enough, as can cruise control. Blue is nice, but I'd rather yellow. In fact, jase's old fab was oretty good
