Fabia 3 odity.....

Featured Replies

Hi,

Was going to post this in the "Ask a Tech" section but, for some reason, couldn't start a new post there.

Anyway, for some reason the temperature units on the LCD of my Fabia 3's Climatronic have, despite my not knowingly pressed a button to cause this, changed from degrees C to degrees F.....

..... but the Maxidot on the dash continues to use degrees C.....

When I left Exford (West Somerset) this afternoon the display was on degrees C so I am not sure at what point the display changed. I spoke to the service department at the dealership where I got the car but they had never heard of it changing itself. Anyone know:

- how the change might have taken place?

- how I can reverse it and make the Climatronic's LCD show degrees C again?

Thanks.

Dave

you have to be a freedom member to ask a tech do it. Its certainly worth it.

Thats a bit strange... had a look in the manual? Not tried it myself, but do either of the dials click in?

Found a solution on a passat forum but they have a different interface but similar may apply. Hold down the recirculate button and press + it said. I think that may be hold down the recirc button and turn the temp increase knob?

Edit: Looked in Fabia owners manual. Press Auto and AC at the same time to toggle between the two settings

I think the solution is to press the auto and econ button at the same time. :sun: :sun: You will feel warmer then.

oops, :wall: :wall: soz, didn't see the previous correct post.
