Converting iTunes for use with Columbus unit

Featured Replies

I tried some albums from my iTunes collection in my Columbus unit (on a 16Gb SD card) but the unit would not recognise them. I assume this is because they are not WMA files. Am I right in assuming that the Skoda unit will not recognise iTunes audio tracks? If so, is there an easy way of converting my iTunes library into WMA format (without having to start it all from scratch in Media Player for example)?

Thanks for your advice.

you can play mp3s (i think too)

In i tunes, (via prefences) change the import format to mp3, then you can right click on tracks in itunes and choose "create mp3 version"

Just to be 100%:

Edit->Preferences->General(tab)->Import settings->Import using MP3 Encoder
