I know what your getting at people but to stereotype look at the mods he wants to do, dosent seem to be wanting to drive with care about the clutch! Plus how did the last person that had the car treat the clutch? You just don't know I'm not saying you have to change the clutch he might be lucky and it will last for ever!!! But gun to my head I wish I brought the clutch before doing all my mods and mine isn't exactly the most powerful here, plus the sachs clutch is bloody brill!!

I've a terrible feeling you'd better budget for a new turbo if a. that power's genuine and b. it doesn't already have a hybrid turbo fitted. Sorry, but a standard K03 turbo just won't last long boosting to the levels required for 190bhp... :(

maybe so but a new turbo soon will be my next step anyways

Fair enough, then!

K03? Don't you mean the KKK version of the GT1749VA? :)

My guess it's the usually 190BHP pub talk remap. So really high 160s to low 170s.

Best get saving for that clutch :)

It has an updated clutch and flywheel

It always makes me laugh when people say things like "A new turbo is on my upgrade list" as if a turbo failure was something small, like a battery or something that didn't have the potential to spit tiny bits of metal into your engine.

I wonder whose map it is?

Yeah people don't think a blown turbo could do alot of damage.

One thing about buying a car which has already got the mods. Saves you a bloody fortune :)

A K03 sounds like a high mountain or is a version of a dry roasted peanut!

As said, doubt it`ll last long if thats the case. Fingers crossed it doesnt take much else out with it eh.

What's my options with getting an uprated turbo then?

Which one and where from?

And how much?

Can hybrid a PD130 for 210bhp, cant remember the price. Or a hybrid 150, again not sure on the price on its own, but Unit 18 do one fitted and mapped for £1000. Or if you could just get a boggo pd150 for 200bhp.

Is it common for the uprated clutch and flywheel to make a ridicolously loud noise when idling?

yep from the flywheel a chatter

yep from the flywheel a chatter

Why does it do it then? The car sounds like a tractor and it's kind of embarrassing lol my left leg will be massive with me holding the clutch in all the time haha

probably a single mass flywheel, normally have dual masses on diesels to help smooth out the vibrations, single masses are alot lighter and enable the engine to rev more freely so you get better perormance at the cost of the noise on idle
