Sudden Clutch Problem

Featured Replies

This morning the clutch failed on my 1.4 tdi 2008 Roomster. But I don't think it failed like I have had clutches fail in the past. It was much more sudden, it worked fine putting it in first gear and then refused to go in second. Then it wouldn't work at all.

Is it possible that this is something else? It feels like it is a complete failure of a cable/hydraulics, but I don't know which on the car has?

Any ideas?

get it to the dealer quickly while its still in warranty.... stressing the sudden component failure.

Clutches aren't covered. So part of my problem is knowing if this might be something else that is covered.
