Karcher foam mix

Featured Replies

Hi all,

This might be a REALLY stupid question, but then again it might not be.

I have a Karcher pressure washer, one of the attatchments allows for me to mix the soap from the soap resevoir with the water... My question is, can i buy a soap that is more foam like? I appreciate a snow foam attatchment would do it properly but i'm skint basically :giggle:

Thanks

Yes you can , BUT not as good as the proper attachment. I use mine on my Alto pressure washer it's okay.

HTH Simon.

Yep, as Simon says you can run Snowfoam in the wash reservoir, but it won't work as well. It's as much the design of the foam lances as the product you use, that produce the proper, thick and long dwelling foam that you're probably looking for.

I'd buy a proper foaming attachment for your Karcher

Cheers,

Steve

How much snow foam do you need to put in the bottom of a lance to wash one car leaving a nice amount of foam dwelling on the car

This is entirely to your personal requirements and what setting you have your lance on.............. :S

I fill the resevoir and wash away, but like i said... I'm currently using the soapy mix made for pressure washers, which really isn't a touch on snow foam emoticon-0106-crying.gif

As Baker says - that's a very open-ended question! Speaking personally, with a 50/50 foam:water mix in there, a full container I could probably get 4 cars done, with a 2-3 minute dwell time on each? Depends on how big each car is though ;)
