IME, no!

However, Corsas are less girly than 500s so chances are that may be the influencing factor...

I'd take my push bike over either of them!

Maybe something about the shape makes the 500 hard to teach in?

The Corsa is deceptively big inside, even for a 2m tall driver like me; Fiats on the other hand, have always been designed for short people with long arms, so THAT might be the reason.

What they WONT be clamouring for is Fords, I know an independent instructor who had 2 brand new Ford Focus TDCI's suffer engine failures weeks from new; Ford wouldnt honour any warranty because they are "Learner" cars, so he switched back to Vauxhall.
