EvilBay. paid for decode and lead and disk seperately total about £250. Have changed the 32 LEDs to green although they are a bit bright compared to Skoda green backlight.

Watch this space as might be selling! as have just seen this:

time for a scanner upgrade and fits in a Din slot B) and refit standard radio unit back in top slot

Has it arrived yet, interested to find out what they're like as might get one myself?

Same here waiting for one of your awesome write ups!. :)

it's arrived today, first impressions are pretty good. top draw is a bit stiff as described in the add but i'll drop a bit of oil on it and it should be fine.

it comes with a surround like you get with an after market head unit so looks like it will be an ok fit (i wont no for sure as my cars with her indoors till next friday so fitting will have to wait but i shall get a few pics and let you no how i get on!)

Will a 500ml bottle fit in it without it being too loose?

nearest thing to a can or a bottle i've got lying around is this 250ml air freshner :giggle: fits snug

the black clip at the bk pushes down when you put a drink in so i would say yes it'll hold it pretty well

Looks good so far, how's it fixed into the dash?

it just slides into the cubby like a stereo as its din sized. there are screw fixings on the side if you wanted to go down that route

I think a 500ml drinks bottle is abit thinner than that m8, but so far so good looks like it may work.

Now hurry up and fit it so i can follow your guide lol

Surpized that you're letting your lass use it after she ripped the spitter off :giggle:

Felt faces down, the one i bought had an 'L' on it for passenger side, think it was the end with a slight kink towards the end, once you offer it up pretty easy to see which way it goes, make sure you don't overtighten the bolts, i did and getting the old rivetnuts out is a right P.I.T.Aemoticon-0148-yes.gif
