Went for a test drive and he liked it so has put a deposit down on it!

Trading in his 02 1.4 Sport 16v Polo which only has 51k on the clock. They have given him £2500 for it. They are going for around £3k on the trader but the polo is due a service and also needs a wheel bearing.

Anyone have any views on the 1.4TSI? Seems like a decent enough engine but have not really read anything about the twin chargers as i've always been more interested in the technology on the dark side!

I test drove a 170ps model with a DSG gearbox and loved it. I just couldn't live with the small boot ( I have a 2005 Focus Estate at the time). I would have ordered an Octavia with that engine/gearbox if it had been availavle. Ended up with the vRS 170 CR TDI with DSG. :yes:
