What tyres are you all running on your vRS'?

What do you want to get next?

Hi,

I'm running a Kumho Escta SPT on the front and a Continental Sport Contact 2 on the rear at present on my MK1 VrS but I'll need to change them soon so I'm looking for any suggestions also!

M3yja

Toyo Proxes T1-Rs on the front and Goodyear F1 GSD3s on the rear.

I've had 11K miles from my Toyos and are now at 2-3mm. I want to try Uniroyal Rainsport 2s as everybody raves about them on here. Or buy some spare wheels and fit winter tyres to them.

If you don't know what tyres to buy, there are plenty of threads about them, if you use the search button.

So far I've had the following on the front;

Bridgestone Turanza

Uniroyal Rainsports

Kuhmu KU31

Toyo T1R

Pirellie P Zero Nero

I'm getting Conti Sport Contact 2's on Saturday.

Uniroyal rainsport 2's for me always used them on my 182, great all rounder can be found fairly cheap

Fancy trying hankook v12s I think their called next

Check the tyre review sites I'm sure I read the hankooks are fairly high up on the scale for performance

Had Contisport 2s, all round.

Currently have Contisport 1s on the back and Pirelli Pzero Neros on the front.

Before the Pirellis, I wore out 2 SC1s on the front.

Liked the SC2s.

Didn't like the SC1s as much but they were a lot cheaper.

Quite liking the Pirellis at the moment.

Fronts got GSD 3

Rear Barum Bravuis. But these are getting replaced next week as they've done 40,000 miles lol

Going to be getting the new Bravuis 2. £115 fitted for two tyre shopper.

Conti Sport Contact 2's - Fitted when car bought. Seemed quite noisy.

Michelin Pilot Exalto's - Expensive at £100 each but lasted very well - 42k from a set of 4!

Pirelli P Zero Nero's - Current tyres. £75 each but not wearing as well as the Michelin's. Currently done 26k but only 3-3.5mm left. Need to get another 6k out of them or the Michelin's are better value

Currently running 214/40/17 Kumho Ecsta KU31's and they seem very good.

Previuously I've had Bridgestone Potenza and Continental SC2 in the standard 205/45/16 sizing.

Both lasted very well, but the Kumho's were cheap and they are significantly quieter than any other tyres I'm currently running on any of the other cars.

ive got michelin pilot xtreme [or something like that emoticon-0136-giggle.gif ] seem pretty good, emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I've got yokohama parada spec 2's on my car great tyres in the dry but not so good in the wet and

therefore not great for this time of year.
