Yeti Sport seats

Something else we don't get in the UK. Lovely Yeti Sport seats:

Now that is a shame. Those seats look great and would hold you a lot better than the current ones do. The joy of having a lease car is that when I change again in 21 months hopefully this type of thing will be available in the UK and I can get them.

I am having my seats retrimmed and customised, they should be similar to these ones but more GTI/R32 like with bigger side bolsters.

These seats look exactly the same pattern as the leather seats in my Elegance - just trimmed in velour instead. I find them comfortable and supportive and would not do anything to them, to improve them.

Yup, agree, I popped out to the car to have a look, seem to be the same as those in the picture but on my Elegance they are in leather.

Erm... God is in the details. So look at the size of the side bolsters. Much, much deeper and at the top of the back rest under the headrest the fabric makes a triangular shape in the same contrasting fabric of the bolsters. Just like you get on a Recaro seat. Also the horizontal ribs are about three times wider than on an Elegance. So hardly similar!! :smirk:

Just found a few more pictures of the Sport seats. The first from the limited edition Yeti Champion:

Very nice, but would my "middle aged spread" fit them?

:giggle: You need not worry Graham: as with all nice Å koda things, SUK won't let us near them in the UK.

Deeper bolsters on the Yeti seats would be nice, though those don't look much bigger (if at all) than the Elegance ones to me.

Big sides on the base of the seat can make it difficult to get in and out! We have a VRS Fabia 11 and I bet the seats from that would fit in the Yeti, but how do you make the rear seats match?

german eu car importer ( lot cheaper than german reg cars ) wants 340 euros for sport seats

A Yeti "Limited Edition" could sort this problem! :p

Saying that I am very happy with the Yeti seats, some nice adjustment and lumbar support. Not to mention heated seats.

What's "sporty" about them?

There just different. I wouldn't class them as sport seats.

If you ever sit in them Tim you can comment if they are sporty or not ;)

Some sport seats to keep Tim happy!

I think they're they same basic frame/shape as the ones we had on our Passat Estate "Sport" - stock VAG models from up the range. They were comfy in the Passat - I felt that the seat base was slightly thicker and more comfortable on a longer journey - can't say I really miss them though.
