Which Turbo?

Featured Replies

:o... :D:thumbup:

don't get me wrong, VNT20 at 250bhp is better than a 17 at 220 or so and I'm well tempted to replace my current hybrid, just don't know where to go right now

why not get one of them super duper amazing 2260vk things and get it hybridised?

don't think anyone done that yet....

i'm quite interested to see what my vnt20 hybrid can do as i've yet to meet anyone else with one :/

i don't even know what max bhp it can chuck out - very little info on it

Got my Turbo and FMIC fitted over Christmas by Ali, had a bit of pain getting everything sorted due to pre existing issues with my MAF, MAS and the MAS wiring that took up more time (some other bits and pieces needed doing at the same time as well). Cost was a little more as we couldn't get a referb, so was £1500 not including the cost of the FMIC and pipes.

Car is running a bit over 200bhp at the moment (needs a timed 1/4 mile or a rolling road run to be sure) and feels so much faster than before, it'll pull cleanly to well over 110 on the dial (80 before), all on private roads obviously. :giggle: It even pulls better from 1500 rpm, which is useful as I have the long ratio gearbox.

I could push the car higher but I do a lot of miles in my Fabia and I'm prepared to wait till I get the engine rebuilt with stronger internals, bigger injectors, etc. That'll probably happen next year as I've a lot of expense coming up for the respray, coil overs, roll cage and new seats.

Thanks for the help guys and I'm really pleased with the install done by Ali @ Unit 18 as well.
