Deeper Exhaust Note

Featured Replies

As we all know, with a stock set up, the vRS sounds pretty much like a tractor. How can I get it sounding more like this?:

I'm not interested in performance, just purely for the sound (without making it sound like a chaved up Corsa).

Do I really have to go for a full miltek system or is there a cheaper alternative?

Thats exactly what I'm looking for, where can I get it done in Kent and what do I need to ask for exactly?

Would it be possible to get twin tail pipes instead of the oval one?

Mine came with the full Miltek and at low rpm you can't really tell. When you put your got down it does sound a bit chav for my taste as its quite loud, not dustbin exhaust loud but louder than I'd like. The tone is very nice though.

Removing the backbox and replacing straight through pipe (and a custom tip on the end, the custom exhaust place will have some in stock), or removing decat with a straight thro pipe.. or both :)
