I have finally persuaded my old man to ditch his MG ZS for an Octavia and he was looking to spend around £7 - 8k on a 2/3 yr old model, however Ive noticed new ones are starting around the £10k mark with the VAT free offer.

Does anyone know if the 0% finance offer is set in stone at 2 years or wether the dealer would be able to offer me say a 4 year repayment period with the zero interest.

set in stone only available over two years with 50% deposit. But it might be worth talking to your dealer about the low rate apr that is being offered.

Advice sell the MG privately and play hard ball with the dealer you may get a really good deal! Just remember that there is a waiting list for alot of models.

im on a 6.9% finance over three years with a baloon payment ( which is the deposit for another skoda)

I got about 3% finance over 3 years with no balloon payment and a lower deposit. They do have other deals available.
